Janine Baer, MA, reunited adoptee and author of Growing in the Dark.   Janine is founder/editor of Chain of Life, a feminist adoption reform and child welfare newsletter.  For many years, Janine was editor of the newsletter for Post Adoption Center for Education & Research, a San Francisco Bay Area adoption support network.

Stephanie Gleason, Chinese American reunited adoptee and birthmother of a daughter.  Stephanie opened a closed adoption when her daughter was a minor. She has a good relationship with her daughter and her daughter’s adoptive parents.

Reuben Pannor, MSW, adoption consultant, public speaker and co-author of the landmark book, The Adoption Triangle: Sealed or Open Records: How they affect adoptees, birthparents and adoptive parents, 1978; and, Lethal Secrets, 1990, on donor insemination.
